firepower then you? Keep nukes under your bed?
More civilians with guns, more militarized, trigger-happy police
until things escalate and we’re all packing heat!
An armed guard didn’t help at Parkland, didn’t help in Columbine,
Santa Fe, Marshall County and definitely not Uvalde!
Suicidal, homicidal, racist, homophobic, angry or insane,
the why no longer matters.
Nothing matters anymore when we’re all living in a war zone;
chaos funded by an unregulated militia.
But times are changing, the young survivors are marching on
while the old guard is dying off.
Most of us want common sense, our votes will hold those accountable
for their actions. Gerrymandering can’t suppress us all!
All we have are our voices, our bodies, our humanity,
our strength in numbers.
We can rise above the fear, we can rise above the paranoia
to win a better world state by state, because…
